With a speech-focused frequency response from 50 Hz to 18 kHz, the ME 2 filters out muddying lows and extreme highs to provide clear, intelligible results for instructors, journalists, and presenters in need of a solid workhorse lavalier they can depend on. The mic handles SPL levels up to 130 dB without distorting, while the omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound from 360° around the capsule, helping to deliver consistent levels, even when the talent turns away from the capsule.

The ME 2 features a durable 5.2’ cable that provides ample room for movement and terminates in a locking 3.5mm connector wired for Sennheiser wireless transmitters. The electret condenser capsule requires 7.5V of power from your wireless transmitter, portable audio recorder, or similar compatible device. An integrated windscreen helps to reduce wind noise, and a lapel clip is included.

Bubblebee Industries Lav Concealer Mic Mount for Sennheiser ME 2-II (Black)

Manufactured from biodegradable, soft and pliable, the 100% natural-rubber black Bubblebee Industries Lav Concealer is designed to discreetly mount a Sennheiser ME 2-II Mic lavalier microphone on clothing, costumes, or directly on the skin—using Lav Concealer tape (included).

This Lav Concealer fits the capsule's pop shield perfectly, making it easy to hide the mic while protecting it from build-up of glue residue resulting from repeatedly attaching tape directly on the lav.

The rubber material molds itself to the surface to which it is attached, acting as a shockmount, protecting the mic capsule from vibration, and absorbing friction noise for cleaner sound recordings.

The tape is hypoallergenic and easy to apply. It provides a strong bond for secure mounting on fabric or skin. Also included are a metal clothing clip and a fabric guard that can be configured to suit your mounting style.

This Lav Concealer is compatible with the Sennheiser ME 2-II lavalier mic (with permanently fixed pop shield). It is not compatible with older-style ME 2 and ME 2-US lavs (with the removable metal pop shield).
