Capture wide-angle shots using a gimbal, drone, or handheld camera rig with the Laowa 12mm T2.9 Lite Zero-D VV Cine Lens from Venus Optics. The 12mm lens can be used with ARRI PL mount cameras sporting full-frame or VistaVision image sensors, making it compatible with the RED RAPTOR 8K VV and the ARRI ALEXA LF Open Gate cine cameras. This version features a mirrorless design for a more compact form factor that can be used with gimbal cameras like the Ronin 4D. The lens construction consists of 16 elements in 9 groups, a 14-blade aperture, and an aperture range of T2.9 to T22.
Its compact focal length and 122° FOV ensure you don't miss any of the action. A Zero-D design consisting of low-distortion optics helps create precise framing. Close-focusing capabilities allow you to zero in on objects 5.5" away with ease. An 80mm front outside diameter and a 77mm filter thread integrate compatible lens accessories. A shim set is included for calibration, and a hard case protects and transports the lens.
