Black Mist Filter is a special effect filter that can reduce contrast between highlights and shadows.

Intermediate effect of 3 levels of 1/2, 1/4, and 1/8 (1/2 is the most effective and 1/8 is the weakest effect).

When used in backlight or at night scenes, the light source diffuses and dramatically changes your daily life.

Originally used in the cinema industry, this filter is widely used in portraits, videos, table photos, landscapes, and snap-photography.

A soft filter is usually achieved by edging (corrosion on glass surface) to diffuse light to achieve a soft effect, while the Black Mist filter uses black particle diffusers kneaded within the glass to provide a soft effect by diffusing light.

While the edging soft filters tend to be whiter and lose overall sharpness, or light will be diffused in an oval, Black Mist filters are the best feature to diffuse the highlights while still maintaining overall sharpness.
