    20.9MP DX-Format CMOS Sensor & EXPEED 7 Image Processor

The DX-format 20.9MP CMOS sensor is paired with the same EXPEED 7 image-processing engine found in its flagship, full-frame brethren to provide a versatile mixture of high sensitivity, nuanced image quality, fast, AI-powered autofocus, and full-resolution continuous shooting up to 30 fps. At native values, a sensitivity range from ISO 100-51200 permits working in a broad array of lighting conditions, and can be further expanded up to ISO 204800 for extreme low-light conditions. The mixture of resolution and sensor size also contributes to clean image quality and smooth color transitions with reduced noise throughout the sensitivity range.

    Nikon's Most Advanced Autofocus

Using inherited algorithms and deep learning technology from the Z9, including sophisticated Subject Detection for nine different subject types, the Z50 II can recognize a variety of distinct subject types, ranging from humans to animals to airplanes to bicycles. The popular dedicated Bird Detection mode is also featured. When working in Auto-Area AF, these subjects will automatically be detected, focused on, and tracked to ensure sharp focus when the subject is moving across the frame.

Eye-Detection AF, specifically, has been tuned for improved accuracy and refined recognition of eyes in the scene and can also be used in conjunction with custom Wide-Area AF for different subject shapes and sizes.

    Pre-Release Capture

The EXPEED 7 processor also unlocks Pre-Release Capture, a feature that helps make decisive moment shots easier by recording frames in a burst for up to a second prior to actually releasing the shutter. When this feature is activated, burst shooting will commence when the shutter is half-pressed, and the buffer will retain the frames after fully pressing the shutter.

    UHD 4K Video Recording

Capable of recording more than just stills, the Z50 II has improved its video capture abilities as well, now supporting UHD 4K video recording up to 60 fps and Full HD recording up to 120 fps along with a Product Review mode, recording time limits up to two hours, a video self-timer feature, built-in electronic Vibration Reduction, and the ability to save movie files to the in-camera memory cards or an optional external recorder via HDMI out. In-camera time-lapse shooting is also possible with the ability to produce a finished UHD 4K video file directly from the camera.

A first for Nikon, the Z50 II is UAC and UAV compliant for live web-streaming. Additionally, you can now record 10-bit video internally with Nikon's N-Log LUT and use four new RED LUTs as well.

    Color Control for Creators

Nikon has added a Picture Control button atop the Z50 II to make access to its 31 built-in presets available even in Auto mode. The color presets can now be overlaid in the rear LCD screen, giving you the ability to visualize the color shifts as you create. Creator Recipes built by fellow Nikon shooters are available through the Nikon Imaging Cloud and can be downloaded and integrated alongside the presets. Additionally, Nikon provides a one-year subscription to their Cloud Picture Controls software, so you can use your own presets with professional editing tools.

    Body Design and Connectivity

    • A large 3.2" LCD touchscreen is available for bright, clear, and vivid image playback and live view shooting. The screen has a 180° flip-under tilting design, which benefits front-facing selfie captures, and offers more intuitive operation, navigation, and settings control. The upgraded touchscreen now features the Touch FN option, which allows you to select the focus point with your fingertips.
    • The improved electronic viewfinder was redesigned for increased comfort in eye-level viewing. Using NIKKOR optics to guarantee a sharp, clear image, it is now twice as bright as its predecessor.
    • A built-in flash and a hot shoe allow you to introduce additional light into low-lit scenes, with a dedicated Night Portrait mode that optimizes a balanced exposure with available and additional light.
    • A headphone jack has been added, doubling as a terminal for Nikon's newly released and optional MC-DC3 Remote Release Cord, and the USB-C terminal provides both camera charging and USB power delivery. The camera retains the microphone and HDMI ports of its predecessor.
    • Built-in SnapBridge connectivity enables seamless transfer of low-resolution imagery as well as remote shooting capabilities. BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and Wi-Fi enable communication between the camera and a smart device, and the mobile device can remotely trigger the shutter to display a live view image from the camera for working from a distance.
    • The included EN-EL25a rechargeable lithium-ion battery extends camera battery life, with in-camera charging also supported.
    • Single SD memory card slots supports the UHS-II protocol for quickly storing photo and video files.

Nikon NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR Lens (Black)

Compact and versatile, the Nikon NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR is a 24-75mm-equivalent zoom designed for DX-format Z-mount mirrorless cameras. Covering a wide-angle to portrait-length zoom range, this lens is well-suited to everyday shooting situations. Its optical design incorporates aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements, which help to reduce a variety of aberrations for sharper, clearer image quality throughout the zoom range. A Super Integrated Coating has also been applied to minimize ghosting and flare for increased contrast and color accuracy in bright and backlit conditions.

The lens's flexible focal length range is complemented by Vibration Reduction image stabilization, which minimizes the appearance of camera shake by up to 4.5 stops for sharper handheld shooting. A stepping motor provides quick, quiet, and precise autofocus performance along with full-time manual focus override to suit both stills and video applications. Also, a programmable control ring can be set for intuitive adjustment over a variety of camera and exposure settings.

Standard zoom is designed for DX-format Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 24-75mm equivalent focal length range.

One extra-low dispersion element reduces color fringing and chromatic aberrations for improved clarity and color accuracy.

Four aspherical elements minimize spherical aberrations and distortion throughout the zoom range for greater sharpness and accurate rendering.

Super Integrated Coating suppresses flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions.

Stepping motor delivers impressively smooth, quiet, and fast autofocus performance that is well-suited to both stills and video applications. Full-time manual focus override is also possible and an internal focusing design is used, where only the internal lens groups are moved during focusing, to maintain the overall length of the lens during use and to promote faster focusing speeds.

Vibration Reduction image stabilization minimizes the appearance of camera shake by up to 4.5 stops for sharper handheld shooting.

Programmable Control Ring is, by default, set to adjust manual focus but can also be used to control aperture or exposure compensation.

Specialized electromagnetic aperture mechanism provides greater exposure control stability that is especially beneficial when working with fast continuous shooting rates.

Rounded seven-blade diaphragm promotes a pleasing out of focus quality that benefits the use of shallow depth of field techniques.

Lowepro's popular Adventura collection is produced using the Green Line process, which means it's made from recycled and solution-dyed fabric. The Green Line is represented by a loading bar, indicating the percentage of recycled and solution-dyed fabrics used when manufacturing bags.

    Solution-Dyed Fabrics

Lowepro's new bags are made from dope-dyed black fabrics and recycled linings/webbings, to reduce water use and CO2 emissions.

Dope-dyeing, also called solution or spun dyeing, is a production technique to color synthetic fibers such as acrylic, nylon, and polyester. With this technique pigments are added to the liquid polymer solution before synthetic fibers are extruded. Instead of traditional wet yarn dyeing, in which the yarn is knitted or weaved first into a fabric which is then dyed as a whole, dope dyed yarn is the opposite. Traditional wet dyeing has created problems for both the environment and human health. Large amounts of chemicals and dyes are used in wet processing, wasting water and releasing dangerous chemicals into the environment. Using dope-dyed fabrics reduces greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, and chemical usage.

    Zeapon Timelapse Trigger (AF-E1)

ZEAPON Timelapse Trigger, the first accessory product, was born in 2021 to inject fresh blood into the brand's product ecology.
It brings a brand-new experience for rail slider shooting moving timelapse scenes, solves the problem of picture distortion caused by the camera's incorrect exposure when shooting timelapse photography from day to night.
ZEAPON brings a set of flexible, portable and stable shooting system for timelapse photographers who use Micro 2 series motorized rail slider.
Through this system, the art of time passing can be controlled, the fleeting beauty can be touched, and new users can become timelapse masters.

    Smooth Transition of Exposure Calibration

When shooting timelapse photography from day to night, with the function of timelapse trigger, the camera is automatically calibrated with its own timelapse photography function to obtain accurate exposure.
Photographers do not need to worry about the distortion of image quality caused by the change of light, so they can easily get the smooth gradual change effect of day to night exposure, and the post-production work can be greatly reduced.

    * When using it, the camera shutter should be set to "rear curtain sync"

Flexible Dual Control of Signal Synchronization

Timelapse trigger brings a brand-new experience for rail slider shooting timelapse scenes, breaks through the limitation that "the rail slider can only control the camera in one direction" in this scene, and achieves "camera controlling rail slider" through the transmission of timelapse trigger signals, so that the camera becomes the dominant device, and the parameters can be adjusted more freely to meet the requirements of more timelapse scenes.

Improvement and Upgrade of ZEAPON Timelapse Shooting System

With the Micro 2 series motorized rail slider and timelapse trigger, as well as the new upgrade of the App, ZEAPON brings a set of flexible, portable and stable shooting system for timelapse photography players, and creates the most complete timelapse shooting experience.

The functions of "Intelligent Timelapse", "Custom Timelapse" and "Camera Mode" are all available.
Even the more difficult day to night moving timelapse can be easily mastered. Through this system, the art of time passing can be controlled, and new users can become timelapse masters.

    * The timelapse trigger can only be adapted for using with Micro 2 series motorized rail slider;

Refuse Complexity and Pursue Simplicity, Two Connection Methods

    Wireless
    The rail slider is controlled by the camera in Camera mode, and the rail slider and timelapse trigger are connected through mobile phone Bluetooth (App) at the same time. The transmission distance is up to 15m, achieving response without delay, which is stable and reliable;A signal multiplexing system is designed to ensure that the timelapse trigger is still on standby for the next command at any time when unexpected situations occur such as camera signal missing, so as to maintain the normal operation of the entire system;

    * When using Bluetooth connection, avoid leaving the mobile phone 15m away from the timelapse trigger, and avoid the presence of large obstacles between the mobile phone and the timelapse trigger, so as not to cause signal disconnection or occlusion and affect shooting;

    * If the signal is interrupted when the mobile phone got away, the camera is still shooting, and the rail slider stops running due to signal interruption, you need to press the camera's shooting button again to enable the camera to start its own timelapse photography function, so as to ensure that the device completes the original set motion path.

    Wired

The camera is controlled by the rail slider in the mode of Intelligent Timelapse and Custom Timelapse, and the camera can be directly connected to the timelapse trigger through the shutter cable instead of connecting the rail slider. Therefore, the situation of the shutter cable pulling caused by the moving of the rail slider is effectively avoided, there is no need to worry about the influence of the shaking of the equipment on the shooting effect, and the shooting process is more flexible.

    Offline Operation

ZEAPON Lab APP can be switched to run in the background, there is no need to prepare more mobile phones, and it does not affect watching videos and replying messages during the shooting intervals.

    Palm-sized and Portable

The timelapse trigger is powerful, but only palm-sized,
it does not take up space in the bag, and it is easy to carry for traveling.

Long-Lasting Battery Life and No Fear of Danger

With built-in polymer lithium battery, the battery life in continuous operation is up to 14 hours.
It can also be powered by a rechargeable battery at the same time,
easily coping with the extreme environmental conditions of timelapse photography such as starlapse, galaxy, sunrise and moonset.

    Flexible Installation and Free Extension

The timelapse trigger is equipped with extended cold shoe port, which can fix microphones,
flashlights and other equipment according to different shooting scenes, and fully meets the requirements of various equipment erection.

      • Supports Focus Distance Indicator
      • Choose 135, 90, 75, 50, 35; 28mm Lengths

Alternatively, non-6-bit lenses can be used as well by manually setting the adapter to record data. The adapter allows you to select 135, 90, 75, 50, 35, and 28mm focal lengths. Compatible with Nikon Z-mounts, it can be used on APS-C Z50, Z30, and ZFC cameras as well as Z5, Z6 II, Z7, Z7 II and Z9 full-frame format cameras.

      Trap Focus

This 6-Bit adapter ring also supports trap focus. First, set the camera focus mode to AF-S. Then, while pressing the shutter fully, slowly turn the focus ring, when the focus is clear, the camera can quickly take a clear photo.

      Focus Indicator Function

This 6-Bit adapter ring also supports the focus distance indicator function. Set manual focus mode on the body - there will be two opposite triangular icons at the bottom left of the display. Find out faster whether the focus point is in front of or behind the subject and take clear photos.

Aperture data is determined by the camera body. If there is no corresponding aperture in the camera, it cannot be set to the aperture data of the lens.

      Camera Anti-Shake

With the adapter ring, even advanced features like the camera's anti-shake function can be used as usual.

Lightweight Body, Feel Free to Carry
