AINC is designed to filter out unwanted sounds and adapt to a changing environment. Music is streamed to the 6mm drivers of the C600 in-ear earphones via Bluetooth 4.2 technology and can be paired with your mobile devices in one of two ways. You can manually pair them via Bluetooth, but if your device features NFC technology, you can quickly tap to pair them. To use this convenient feature, just tap your device to the "N-mark" on the earphones.
Both of these Ambient Noise modes can be activated within the Sony Headphones Connect app for iOS and Android devices.
Ambient Sound Mode (Normal): This mode is configured to let everyday background sounds in, such as traffic, so you're more aware of your surroundings.
Ambient Sound Mode (Voice): This mode is configured to let in sounds in the vocal Range, so you can listen to music but not miss any important announcements.
