The dedicated 1988 7" Monitor Cage with Sunshade from SmallRig is designed to support and protect your Blackmagic Video Assist 4K monitor/recorder. This cage includes the SmallRig 1830 monitor cage, a dedicated sunshade, an HDMI cable clamp, a ball head mount, screws, and an Allen wrench.
The formfitting SmallRig 1830 Cage offers dedicated support and protection for your 7" Blackmagic Design Video Assist onboard monitor/4K recorder. This sturdy aluminum cage features top and side NATO rails and multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI-style threads for mounting accessories.
The included clamp secures your HDMI cable from accidentally detaching, and slots on both sides of the cage enable you to attach a carrying strap if desired. The 1830 Cage can be paired with the separately available 1840 Sunshade when glare protection is required.
Blackmagic Design 7" Video Assist
This SmallRig HDMI Cable Clamp is designed for use with Select SmallRig camera rigs. When attached to the camera cage, this clamp prevents unintentional disconnection of the HDMI cable from the camera and helps protect from the possibility of damaging your camera's fragile HDMI port.
