The dark red C Digital Camera from Leica is a stylish, high performance compact camera with a 1/1.7" 12.1MP MOS sensor and a Leica DC-Vario-Summicron lens. The lens is a 7x optical zoom with a 35mm format equivalency of 28-200mm, which enables a comprehensive range of focal lengths from true wide-angle to telephoto. An additional 4x digital zoom is supported for extra reach. With optical image stabilization and a fast maximum aperture of f/2 at the wide-angle end, the Leica C provides effective low-light capability and its easy-to-use interface makes it a versatile everyday camera. A programmable focusing ring enables fast and intuitive control of various camera settings including manual focus.
The Leica C is the first Leica to feature built-in Wi-Fi and an NFC (Near Field Communication) module for easy connectivity. With the free Leica C Image Shuttle app you can utilize the Wi-Fi connection to instantly download images to your smartphone or tablet and then share them on social media sites. In addition, the Wi-Fi connection and app allow you to use your smart device as a remote control for the camera, adjusting aperture, shutter speed, zoom, focus, video and several other functions, including shutter release.
Full HD 1080 video is provided in both the AVCHD and MP4 formats and a built-in stereo microphone is also supported. The Leica C is a sleek and handsome compact camera that is compatible with numerous elegant and practical accessories, including several new camera cases and pouches.

What's more, WLAN and the app enable easy remote control of numerous camera functions from a smartphone or tablet.
