aking everyday life friendlier and familiar, the RICOH GR III Diary Edition camera features a metallic, warm-gray finish. The appearance and surface texture have been designed to reflect the camera’s reliability and quality and gives the camera an appearance that is it more than an imaging tool, with the warm color helping the camera blend more easily into daily life. This camera debuts a new image-control mode that provides a negative-film finishing touch.
The GR III Diary Edition Special Limited Kit includes the GR III camera in the special metallic, warm-gray finish, and accessories exclusive to this Kit – a leather finger strap, a ring cap and metallic hot shoe cover, both finished in a natural silver color and a camera case made of unbleached sailcloth with a leather accent. Laser engraving of the hot shoe cover is available.
The GR III Diary Edition Special Limited Kit comes with exclusive accessories designed for this Kit, including a leather finger strap identical in color to the camera body; camera case made of unbleached sailcloth with a leather accent, a natural silver lens ring cap and natural silver metal hot shoe cover with a laser engraving of your choice*.

A special, natural silver metal hot shoe cover is included only with the Diary Edition Special Limited Kit. Engrave your favorite text to create your own personal accessory.

Negative-Film” has been added as a new Image Control mode. By adjusting the color tones based on various negative films, the perfect balance between the faded look of photo printed from negative film and well-defined colors has been achieved.
Note: This function will be available for GR III & GR IIIx series models with the installation of function expansion firmware.
When the camera’s power is turned off, the camera displays an original shut-down screen featuring the original, emboss-type product logo, against a background harmonizing a fabric-like texture and a color symbolizing the camera body finish.
In addition to the number of shots taken on the day, the total number of shots and firmware version can now be displayed (conventional display of only the number of shots taken on the day is also available)

Smartphone integration has been enhanced with a power-off function from ImageSync now available. You can check and transfer images and turn off the power while the camera is in your bag.
